Slope stabilisation methods will depend on the local area conditions. When a slope is built from the base up or when we want to built a terrace on the slope, we use reinforced soil and gabion technologies. To undercut the existing slope in order to gain land
for investment projects, we may use the following technologies:

• Nailing with ground anchors
• Drilled pile palisades (anchored or bracketed)
• Steel sheet piling (anchored or bracketed)

These technologies enable gradual deepening of excavations and building slopes
with steep inclination from the top. Also deep trenches made as part of construction projects in urbanised areas many be protected in a similar way. During landslide stabilisation, there is often a need for stone and gravel drainage to control water seepage from soil.
